Thread: Anyone else hate this update more than me?

haven't played it but i already hated having the new weapons... i appreciate valves continual attention to the game but they've started to make it didn't used to be

i can only imagine how much worse this new one makes it...

Just to play devils advocate, you know there would be just as many people bitching that the game is getting stale if they didnt come out with updates like this. As with any other update, just have to take it with a grain of salt until they get real-world stats on these weapons and balance them out more.

Know what?

If you have skills - you will dominate. Unlocks or not. The basic fundamentals are still there, in force.

That's the beauty...if you could care less about all this crap, you can still dominate those who do. It is what you make it.

Suck it up and deal. Or quit.

Bingo...without these updates, TF2 = CS. Same dusty old maps with the same dusty old weapons.

I think some peoples' shock is that this is a massive update, all at once. In the past, we've had just a handful of new weapons and items to learn and counter-measure.

Give it time. Valve will balance everything. Embrace the shiny—they add some spark to the game. Sure, I'd rather have new maps, but I'm glad Valve is constantly refreshing TF2.

I dunno, A few of the unlocks have really grown on me (GRU, Degreaser, Spy knife). Customising the hats and in the future weapons is cool too. Naming weapons and coloring them is cool as well. Also, challenging someone to a duel is pretty sweet.

Granted a few of the unlocks need balancing. The prices in the store are outrageous. And The hat should not unlock the set's complete abilities. If they changed these things I would be a happy camper honestly.

Even the sniper outfit where he is immune to HS at first seemed retarded, but really has grown on me.
