A simple question I'd like to ask

When has any team here on TPG had any use for more than 2 Spies or 2 Snipers?

From what I can tell, never. I have never once seen a successful Spy Rush consist of more than 2 Spies. Nor have I ever seen the need of having more than 2 Snipers. I understand the purpose of not limiting the classes, but could we at least have an option for admins? Or maybe have rtc "rock the classes", where we restrict on or more classes to two class limit. Or, preferably, have a set max of 2 for Snipers and Spies.

These probably going to get another "omgwatspostinupanotherthreadagain", but this is slowly becoming a consistent problem on TPG. We should not have to keep telling people to drop a Sniper or drop a Spy. I don't see any reason why we shouldn't have a limit on these 2 classes.

Limiting tactics, teamplaying, weeding out the dicks, yada, yada, yada. Admins already have several class restricting options including, "god chat", "kick", and "ban". Ask the admins for some help if your team is running useless class multiples, and they should be helping you out. Keep in mind that if those 3 players are winning the round for you, then let them be.

But... No real harm in it if the server wants it. "Rock the classes" would be fine by me. If you want it, search out the options for mani mod, and post 'em up, otherwise get writing.

this isnt a new problem or something that's slowly becoming a problem. this is a problem thats been around since the beginning of the game and has remained steady the whole time.

and i have heard of there being a time where the whole offensive team went spy on dustbowl and rocked the cap points in no time. this happened on TTP soil.

Gotta agree even though I haven't been in the servers in quite some time. Unless the players aren't contributing or helping capture the objective, let them be.

precisely, this isn't a tpg thing it's a tf2 thing and it's been hapening since the game launched. This has been discussed time and time again.

Sha-BAM!

This was back in `08... We rolled RED 3 times in a row before they started to switch up their classes to counter. It was a lot of fun and a valid tactic that was working.

We should just rename this thread "Wats' Plea To Be The Only Spy On His Team At All Times"
