    Yeah I have never had a replay that doesn't get corrupted

    If you don't mind putting a little more work into it, have you tried recording it with something other than the built in quicktime crap? For example, there is a console command that will render to series of .tga's with a .wav for audio, and you can put them together into a .avi using virtualdub.
