Hardest class to play on tpg

With some dust settling on the most recent update and the server packed with people these days I'm curious what the public opinion is on what the hardest class to play on the server is. Not in comp play or somewhere else but on our server.

Personally im between scout and spy. Scouts have always had a tough time with all the spam but the extra tomislav heavies and liberty launcher soldiers seem to make it even harder. And spy is one of those classes that seems its a constant get one kill and get killed cycle, there's very few consistently good spies on the server.

Thoughts?

I would have to say Engee, Medic or Scout. All have low health, easily taken out by spam. Also these 3 classes get concentrated on a lot at TPG. As a scout you have to get close to do damage, then you get a couple good TPG soldiers on the other team, they spam you before you get close to your priority target. Engineer is tough because we play with people that have hours and hours of play time. They know where to look for guns and have strategies to spam them without uber. That is tough for a solo engee. Medic is always a tough class to play at TPG. We have a much higher skill level than most pubs, and with that comes TF2 IQ. Which means a flanking scout, pyro, sniper etc.... will prioritize the medic and take you down. Tough.

With all this I mean hardest to play effectively.... Its easy to play any class and stand in the shadows. Its hard to build good sentries, build ubers while supporting a push or flanking in as a scout to pick a medic before a push....

Its all obviously dependent on how well your team works together but when it comes down to it, I think the engie really has the toughest time. Theyre being constantly attacked by spies and ubers and just have to rebuild. Not many classes have a counter to help the engie except for a home-wrecker pyro really.

If there are a bunch of regs/smart people on it's hard to do anything as Spy.
If there are a bunch of newbies/idiots on it's hard to do anything as Medic.
If there are a bunch of Heavys/Engineers on it's hard to do anything as Scout.

the hardest class is medic its the only class that is number 1 on every players kill list.

Agreed. Playing Engie is thankless, frustrating, and boring (to me). Other peeps' mileage may vary.

To add to it, they get yelled at the most for "dumb placement" or taking too long to set up. In reality, they can be the backbone of a good team b/c they dole out health, ammo, and shortcuts while also holding chokepoints. On the rare occasion I go Pyro, I try to support our Engies.

I would say enge or pyro. People know how to take down guns and for the pyros.... you cant reflect everything...

Engie, a thankless job and pretty much all the regs know the standard sentry nest placements. So as soon as they hear a sentry, spam, spies, and ubers will roll in to destroy all that hard work.

Thats why Ive been playing more aggressive mini-sent engie. All that time to build a lvl3 gun just goes to waste so easily if you arent watching your gun all the time.
