Also, how about Far Cry 3? I've been playing quite a bit of it simply because I got it with my video card for free and unlike CS and PS2 I can pause I need to help the wife out with the newborn...pretty solid game that I'm sure many here will play despite the fact that it's an EA game.

Probably this. It's what I used and I loved it.

Re: Article suggestion thread
I've been kicking around an idea for a little while now, maybe something sort of like Stealthy's retro review thing, but more a look back at maybe some underrated or badly panned games that either aren't that bad or the flaws aren't really something that huge now. Like for example the one that's brought this up for me was Rogue Warrior, which was famous for a couple years for being the game on steam with the worst Metascore Steam Search It isn't anymore but I remember back when the Quakecon 2011 pack was out there were people asking if they could buy the pack but not Rogue Warrior as they didn't want it being an eyesore in their steam list. I got it in that pack, and have since played it, it's a pretty generic shooter set in the cold war, and the horrible review score is the only reason people still think about it ever. It's really short though, like not Heavy saying Max Payne at 8 hours is short, but really it's only like 2 hours total, which totally reduced the review scores a lot.
I don't know if I could write it, I'm not a great writer and don't really know what to write about, this idea has just been bouncing around my head and I felt like I needed to get it out.
