Inspiration for Articles
Articles are a great way to exercise your mind. Just like getting your ass whupped in a game, articles are a mental exercise that push you to clarify your thoughts.
Have you considered being an intellectual sniper, an intellectual engineer, an intellectual spy...an author? Or have you consigned to being an intellectual...tool?
Reduce your thoughts to writing and be an author. Or be less and be a tagalong.

Re: Inspiration for Articles
Nemo,
Are TTP authors the only ones that know cake is not real?
Come to think of it, cake is great topic for an article. Where did you arrive at the idea for giving ASCII cake? The Portal game points to cake. Was Portal your inspiration? Hmmmm?
Some of us crave ASCII cake. Bake it. BAKE IT!

imba FPS in L4D
in CSS i have stable 200 fps or more (with everything high)
in CoD4 i have stable 150 fps or more (with everything high)
in Fallout3 i have stable 150 fps or more (with everything high)
In L4D.. it is impossible, that i have so big difference. This is how L4D works on my PC:
Settings:
textures HIGH, effects HIGH, shader LOW, AA etc. OFF - 1680x1050 - 20-60FPS
textures HIGH, effects HIGH, shaders VERY HIGH, AA etc. OFF - 1280x800 - 60-80fps
if everything on low - 1680x1050 - 30-85fps
if everything on low - 1280x800 - 60-120fps
Hardware:
cpu: intel i3 530
graph: radeon 4650hd 1gb/128 BUS
ram: 3gbddr3 Kingstone (slot 3 - 1gb,slot 1 - 2gb) 667MHz
board: Gigabyte H55M-S2H
pci-e 16x is forced
I'd like to have only above 60fps when using native resolution (1680x1050), about graphics, how does it looks - i dont care.
Thanks for help!
