MoneyB and I were playing CS:S today on the no awp servers on de_contra. We had decided in pregame to play the entire map splinter cell style (nightvision, silenced usp, armor, nades, kit). We had used those items and those items only the entirety of the map (though cut short due to banning).

We are disputing the bans as we were contributing to the team, attempting and completing team objectives, and being generally a positive player on the counter-terrorist team.

Both Kyle and I were positive (K:D) the entirety of the map, and we were on a team that was winning in which we were contributing too. I personally was the second top fragger in the server for the majority of the map, with a 2:1 K:D (although with a defusal, but that does go to show we were attempting and completing team objectives in an attempt to win the round). I had also died while defusing and meat shielded another team mate while in a smoke for a round win (i was killed and the shooter thought he had killed the defusal in which he hadn't).

Towards the end of the map (well our time on the map) we (the ct's) started struggling as we had only sent 1 person to B numerous rounds. It was Sos who was going to B solo as MoneyB and I would notice and fast flank. We received kills during the flanks but not enough to change the momentum of the round. After this we were banned.

We were given a warning to change guns, but we felt and responded in chat (in which we received no response) that we were using guns that are:
a) allowed on the server (usp are not banned)
b) contributing to the team (both in the upper half of K:D) I had attempted 2 defuses and accomplished 1 as well as dropping M4's to team mates as night-vision armor and nades aren't expensive.

To my knowledge we violated no rule. I have seen users use suspect guns or (insert gun) the entirety of maps before with no repercussions. I have seen FireDX (apologies if I mistyped your name, going purely off of memory) use Deagle only or an entire map and I believe he is not banned (he did play in the 5v5 draft tourny). I have seen MrBuckett use deagle only multiple times although I can't say he used it for an entirety of the map. I've seen GreenBunny and others buy para's only to be broke and spend the next X rounds saving up for said para again. How is using an allowed gun, succeeding with it, and being an asset to the team against rules? We were not using mm1 and I was using mm2 to try and make adjustments with the team "we need more than 1 b, etc". We were calling and working together so we were not disrupting the server.

I did state we were warned to change guns, but I don't see how that's part of an admins responsibilities. Why don't admins order [usbdt] Vic to stop awping or Luker/Lee to some ak'ing. We were using guns allowed by the server and SUCCEEDING with them. We had directly helped our team win rounds, including a 1v2 4k + defusal clutch. We played passive and aggressive, changed our play style, were not a hindered or nuisance to anyone or team. I see 0 reason as to how our play style that map was deemed inappropriate or unallowed and I am also unsure what rule we broke that an admin tried forcing us to use different guns.

I would like to get this matter resolved as quickly as possible as I do have a 5v5 tournament match this week and MoneyB is set to cast it from SourceTV. If an admin sees this, can you please pass this on to the banning admin so we can get this straightened out? I only call for haste because of said match and the fact that my admin abuse topic took 1 week for the admin to respond.
