Thread: I was banned for no reason

Hello guys,

Well, I posted somewhere else yesterday, don't know exactly where so I'm re-posting here again.

I was playing normally de_dust2 (CSS) yesterday, when my team (T's) rushed to B and I was together with them but covering their backs since there were some folks behind us in the tunnels which I heared. All of sudden, I got unluck and couldn't manage to kill the guys, we lost the round and I got banned, with no prior notice or warning, just banned...

Wish you guys could help me out here, this is the only US Server that works for real here in my country and I wish to keep on playing... This is not the way players should be treated and also what if I was a noob and was really out of the "teamplay" just learning how to play, would I be banned anyways? Is that really how the stuff works?

Please unban me!

makina, welcome to the forums. Its unfortunate that your first post is in the banned forum. You were banned along with a few players for not following the call. Several warnings were given thru "god chat". You were warned twice. However, you were issued a 1 day ban, so you should be able to connect by this evening. Please read the CS Rules and Policies so you can prevent yourself from coming back to the banned forums

Thanks BISHOP for your quick reply. However I still think that the admins should be a bit more flexible regarding the teamplay, when a team rush B and the guy who dies in the tunnels covering the team while 3 guys are coming from behind, this might be part of the game, I wasn't in the spawn with an AWP trying to get some picks, if you know what I mean.

But anyhow, we keep in touch and thank you very much once again for your reply!

A bit more flexible? some admins have a little bit of flexibility. In fact, I just gave you one...by giving you a 1 day ban instead of a permanent ban, which would've been a longer process for you. In terms of teamplay, as a Terrorist, if we let too much flexibility then calls will not be followed and it will cause server disruption, which we don't allow. Here in TPG we have rules to follow. The community respects and abides by it...otherwise, this place will be disorganized.
