Thread: BF3 Unban Request: Lazarus-1-

I was playing tonight on the BF3 server. I was banned tonight by Zoran for Team Killing at the start of the round running for the chopper. My buddy Milkmonkey and I were on playing, we were closest to the chopper and running for it when a vehicle driven by someone else who had bailed and wanted the chopper too drove right between us, narrowly missing tk'ing us both. I was frustrated (I'm trying to get the TV Missile unlock and the grind is driving me crazy), and I shot at the driver of the vehicle when he bailed, killing him. Unfortunately I accidentally also TK'ed my buddy Milkmonkey too (we were squadded up together at the time).

I regret my behavior, and I know better. I was frustrated with the race for the chopper and people going all willy nilly in vehicles like they did. That is an explanation but not an excuse. I should not have done it. That moment was the one and only instance of purposeful TKing I've ever had on the server; I had expected a warning from an admin afterward and was set to apologize, but the ban happened (I think) less than 10 seconds after the TK.

I am a long time TPG member and player, and I am normally a good Teamplayer and contributor both in-game and on the forums. A lot of you guys know me and know this about me. I can safely say this won't happen again. It was just a stupid mistake. Please unban me.

Yea I'm the one who banned you. The map was Operation Firestorm. As all of us know, there is always a mad race for the chopper at the start of the round. As players enter the game at the start of a round, they are being pushed all over the spawn points. I always try to get to the chopper on this map. There are usually multiple players trying to get this done creating a traffic jam around the boxes by the big AA gun.

You are correct in the above comments. There were multiple people you TK'ed, including me at the start of the round. One other player was on teamspeak and told me right after I issued the ban.

Intentional TK's are frowned upon at TPG as you know and result in bans.

Thank you for being honest about losing your kool as it will go a long way with the other admins. I will start your vote at we should have a result in no longer then 3 days.
