Banned from Arma 3 Wasteland Server

Several days ago, I was banned from the TPG Wasteland server for allegedly hacking. This accusation is not true in any way. On the day in question, my internet connection was experiencing ping spikes, and I occasionally de-snyced with the server. I was blamed for hacking because it appeared to the two people that I killed that I had killed them instantly, although this was not the case. I saw them both appearing to be standing still, and I took the opportunity to shoot them. I attempted to explain what had happened over global chat in text, but it was either not seen or ignored. I was banned.

I do not know which admin banned me, nor do I know any other players that were on the Team Player Gaming Arma 3 Wasteland Server at the time. My Steam and in-game name arre both the same as my username for these forums, Archer01.

I should have better clarified the way in which I made my kills. I should have left the server immediately when I started to notice that I was experiencing severe de-syncing.

In the future, I will refrain from participating in servers where I am experiencing severe lag, and, in the even that I unfairly kill someone due to de-syncing, I will make a better effort to contact them and apologize, as well as leave the server.

Hello Archer,
I am your banning admin. You're essentially correct, you were banned for hacking/scripting.Your version could fit, however I was spectating you for a while. There was no rough cuts to a server popping to where you would be like what would happen in a desync. I saw you check a truck at Agios Marina, hop in it's driver seat, and sit there. I saw a kill by Archer01, while a player approached your truck and unloaded his rifle into the driver's seat. It did no damage to you, meanwhile you continued to get another kill. I made the decision after he unloaded his second clip into you to ban you for hacking/scripting.

Unbans are approved by admin vote only, so you will have many admins looking at the situation and judging whether it was innocent desync issues or something more sinister. Is there anything else you would like to add before I start the vote?

Yes I do have something to add. From my perspective, it appeared that there was another player sitting in the driver's seat of the truck. I fired at him, and got no response for several seconds until I received kill credit. I was then immediately banned. I believe that the player who unloaded into the driver's seat was me... and the player that I did no damage to was somebody else entirely. I have no idea how this would be possible. I only know what I experienced from my end. A large number of players appeared to be standing still, and I, in my zealousness to win, shot at them without considering the possibility that I might be winning unfairly.

I would also like to express my sincerest apology for any inconvenience this incident may have caused, and to those players that I unknowingly took advantage of.
