Ban Appeal on ARMA 3

I think I was banned because I asked where people even get hacks from, and was banned by Ace22. Upon telling me that talking in side chat was against the rules, I read the rules and told him otherwise, in which he became angry with me and told me I was being an asshole. He also said I could not talk about being Lithuanian, and that he would ban me if I said anything about my nationality. I did as he asked. I apologize for what I may have done, and I would greatly appreciate being unbanned from your server. I believe I should be unbanned because I don't even know what I did, but I will try to be a more friendly player towards the people on the server in the future, although when I was banned I hadn't said anything for at least 5 minutes. I would appreciate it if I were informed of the reason I was banned, so as to not do it again in the future. My ingame name is Vern.

Vern. You were banned for trolling/griefing and discussing hacks. You were arguing with another player for 5+ mins and wouldn't back off when told to do so. You continued to grief and spam the side chat despite my requests for you to stop. Eventually you started asking everyone where you could download hacks. This is where your found yourself disconnected and blocked from the server.

We take hacking seriously here and refuse to put up with childish behaviour. After this encounter I find it hard to believe you are capable of being a troll free teamplayer on our servers. Not only have you pissed off the admin staff you ruined over 20 players evening as many were screaming for your ban and a few simply disconnected to avoid your hassle.

Please tell me why we should waste any more time on you?

I have never hacked in the server, I have never hacked at all in any game. I am not sure why I am being accused of hacking, I play with 15 FPS and do terrible 75% of the time. I have never griefed any players in any way, as I play independent 100% of the time. I do not understand why I was banned for warning other players about another player who would say they were friendly, and then kill the person they claimed to be grouping up with. The way I see it, they have griefed much more than I have, yet I get banned. I was arguing with another player about the subject I just mentioned, when others started jumping into the conversation. I am not sure how this can be interpreted as trolling on my part, perhaps there is some logic I do not see. Also, nothing I did violates any of the server rules. I made a respectful appeal and I am met with such hostility? I followed all of the thing you said while on the server, despite the fact that they violated none of the rules, I had not said anything for atleast 5+ minutes when I was abruptly banned from the server. To my memory, there was only one person asking for my ban, and that was the person I was having the conflict with. Had everyone not chosen a side so suddenly, this could have been avoided. All I was asking was to be listened to, and I was met with threats and eventually a ban. Specifically, which of the server rules did I violate? I will post a link for you so you can read them.

Here are the server rules you failed to follow:

4. Respect other players. This includes any and all racist type actions which includes custom skins, names, chat etc.
5. The use of global VoN is strictly forbidden. Global text chat can be used on a limited basis. Do not spam global text chat, use it to whine about your death or brag about your kill. Do not spam global text chat in any way. 6. Respect the administration of the server. In game is not the place to handle administrative issues. If a buddy gets banned then direct him to the forums. If you are told to do something by the administration do so. If you feel you have been abused then report to the admin abuse section of the forums and plead your case.

The simple fact that you feel you did not violate any of these is a problem. The only reason you were able to break this many rules is because I struggled to get your player # when trying to exec your ban.

You specifically did the following (any single one of which could constitute a ban):
- Excessively argued with another player and ignored admin requests for you to be quiet
- spammed side chat excessively, disrupting play on the server
- incited other players to argue with you. eg. making comments regarding nationality + many more
- started asking everyone on the server where you could download hacks
- argued with admin staff about what the server rules are
