Thread: Banned on arma 3 by nuckle

I was banned when the game was still in its alpha version but i never got to making a ticket to get unbanned because at the time i was upset that i was wrongly accused of being a hacker. My in-game name is mr.magnificent. my buddy was also banned the same day, same time as we were in a independent group. Deviouskiller was his name. I have the link to his ban appeal also cause im almost positive he put me in his appeal.

You are correct, you were banned on suspicion of hacking. We have learned a good bit about this game since your friends unban request. I believe that you both were at minimum using a no recoil hack. What I saw matched what I saw with others there were later banned once we had a anti-hack that detected it. Your unban request will be treated individually as that is our process and your friends verdict to unban will have no bearing on your results. You need to post a link to your steam profile before I start the vote.

I was not using any hacks i dont understand how you can really think that i was. If you really spectated me you would have noticed nothing out of the ordinary but whatever i have said what happend as said before i was using a EBR and we both were in skype so we could call you and your team out. and if you think that we were using those scripts then why can my buddy still play on the servers and no one has said anything to him ever but that one day with you and your team that were all in teamspeak. I dont want to be disrespectful in anyway but it is very irritating to be blamed for hacking when we just out right out gunned you guys. Thats all i have to say.

Multiple admin and players reported both of you as cheating. People in my group and people not in my group. Saying that we banned you because you got the best of us is not the case at all and insinuating that is very insulting. That is not what we are about.

As an FYI, our TS server is available to everyone on the server on any team. No in game calls or commands are to be discussed in out TS channel. Utilizing 3rd party communication to circumvent the game design and prohibit players from hearing you over VON when they are close is an exploit. We do not ban for it but it is frowned upon.

I will get your vote started tonight, I am traveling today. Any other ARMA admin can start it prior if they get a chance.

Ok like i said i wasn't trying to be insulting, just very frustrating to be blamed for hacking when i never did. My buddy who was banned the same day was unbanned so there must not of been enough proof or something to keep it sustained. If i do get unbanned you can watch me and spectate me all you like. i played on your server like everyday when it was in alpha until the day you banned me. Thanks for your time.
