Thread: Banned for no reason

#1. Why do you think you got banned?

Dear TTP Admins

While playing as Sparkks on the TTP PR server I was banned for what appears to be something I did not do.

The message said " Banned for FL in An A10"

I was not in an A10. I have never been in an A10 or aircraft pilot on a TTP server.

At the time I was gunning for my Squad Leader in his APC in the middle of the battle at the Mosque and had a positive score.

I was not engaged in any rule violations, Tking, or bad sportmanship.


#2. What server were you on? What admin do you believe banned you? What admins were there playing?

While playing as Sparkks on the TTP PR server on 7/13/07 at about 6:30 PM Central time on the map Al Basrah, USMC team

I have no idea who banned me.

this is my BF2 stat but it is old and represents the time I spent learning the game before i switched to only playing mods. It does not include the ABR stats and rank of capitain.

#3. Why should you be unbanned?

I believe I have not done any offense let alone the one I was banned for


#4. A written statement that you will refrain from doing anything that will get you banned again.

I would not knowingly ever break any TTP server rules. I am a team player who values cooperation and communication.

The whole incident is a mystery to me.

Could you please unban me and possibly explain what happened to cause the ban?

Were you in a Forklift on the Runway pushing an A-10 that landed from the front and pushing him backwards and then blew up the A-10 with your forklift ?

I was not in the forklift on the runway messing with an A10. I had not been in a forklift at all on 7/13/07. Nor did I ever set foot on the runway.

I spent the entire battle as a crewman in an APC as either guuner or driver. I had only 1 death before I was banned. At the time of and before the ban I was a gunner for my squadleader as we made a circling approach to the Mosque.

I believe there has been some mistake.

It was a temp ban and we are sorry for the mistaken Identity.....He had a name very simular to yours...... Because we were not 100% sure, the temp was issued....

You may rejoin the Server.

A quick google search the best answer I could find is this:
