Unrightful ban
First off I must say I really enjoy your servers on both BF2 and BF2142. And thats why I feel I must complain about the ban I got was unjust and I think it should be removed.
The message I got was that I was forcing teamkills and I got banned for it. I think I understood why it happened and it was a simple mistake on the admin's part. I think he or she thought I was forcing a TK by lying underneath an APC, but it was an enemy APC. You see, it was Karkand and the APCs and Tanks were everywhere and I was stranded. I hid underneath an enemy APC to avoid getting blown up (and I ran out from under it when the other armor left).
I think the admin probably thought I was under an allied APC and going to force the TK, but I was merely desperate.
EDIT: If you think I shouldn't I will not run under enemy APC's again to avoid the confusion, I never really thought it was a problem. :EDIT
My BF2 name is GoSailing and I would love to get on and play your server again :)

Re: Unrightful ban
Thank you, I changed a little bit but left most the same. I had no idea who banned me or who the admin were, because I only barely saw the ban message up top in the admin notes (that show who killed who and the server messages). It was probably about 5-10 minutes before my post because I had to register to the site before I could post.

Re: Unrightful ban
Mastersailor,
You were not banned for what you were doing in the server just now. The ban I issued just now for you is to bring you here to account for your actions in a game some time ago when no admins were on. The player reported your actions and here we are.
I find this interesting. Just a little while ago, in game, you complained about this...
[12:40:01] <RoTR> GoSailing -> admin kick Rygore
[12:40:04] <RoTR> GoSailing -> foced TK on jet
you were frustrated that someone was forcing TK on jet.
Why is that interesting? Because of this...

You are accountable for your actions at all times here. Screenshot proof is hard to argue with but I am willing to listen.
If you did it, meant it, and are now caught, the best thing to do is to man up and admit it and move on. We give second chances here but that is it and it always depends on how the player communicates with the admin and how they explain themselves.
I look forward to your post. Joe

Re: Unrightful ban
That was on July 22nd, correct? I'm taking that from the post time. If that is the case then I was on vacation and that had to have been my brother. I am sorry that he did that, I told him not to play on my account. I realize that though it wasn't me, it was my fault, I didn't think that he would be rude enough to play on my account and force TKs/teamkill. I now know I shouldn't leave my password selected so that he can't do that. I'm sorry for the actions that took place on my account, as they were my responsibility.
Obviously you have no reason to believe me and I have no way to prove that I was on vacation from July 3rd to early June, but I can guarantee nothing like that will happen again. As I said, I really enjoy playing on servers where people play as a team, how it is supposed to be. I hope you will unban but I understand if you don't.

Would a BIGTEX mod please move this where I should have moved it. I clicked the wrong forum. Please move it to the regular BANNED forum.
Sorry guys. Joe

Re: Unrightful ban
MasterSailor,
We hear this frequently and while I believe you based on your normal game play here and the fact that you have not crossed our "radar" before, I have to point out that you are responsible for what happens on your account.
You have learned a valuable lesson at least- don't keep the password selected. You also need to know that no matter how many different screen names you make up, if you do it from that same CD anyone that gets banned using that CD bans the rest who use it.
If your brother wants to play, have him get his own disk. That is the safest thing for you.
We enjoy good, teamwork oriented players here and do not want to lose someone over a misunderstanding that we can work through.
I am satisfied with your answer but I still have to bring it up to the general admin community for a vote. You will be advised of the results within 3 days (standard vote time limit). Thank you for your post. Joe

Re: Unrightful ban
I wasn't aware of that, and yes I will get him a different disc, I'll just have to make sure he actually switches to it when he plays... But if it happens again its my fault completely and I won't object. Thank you for putting it up for a vote.
