Thread: Banned for TK like so many...

Well after reading a few post on this issue, I was somewhat surprised at the admins toughness on it. If one is TKing on purpose, I can understand harsh action, but few do it on purpose. I have really enjoyed this server and playing as a team, and have never intentionally killed my own guys. But as old as I am, and as fast as this action is, it happens. Getting banned for accidents and hoping you guys will let us back on in 30 days, well that is a little tough. For me I am sure it may happen again in the future, so it's been fun. Say hi to the guys for me. Check ya in 30 days.

well you didnt read enough. if you were banned for tk it is quite likely you can be un banned much quicker than 30 days. so read the banned procedures and format your post so we can address your ban.

Here is the link, and it surprised me, I'd ban me too! All I can say is that when I play, I like being part of a sqad, working as a team in communication. The only time I have every shot a team member and meant to was when when some idiot would show up and start killing us. Course I never have seen that here, that is why I like this server. People try to work together! I live in Texas, I get a good ping when the net is up, and there is a feel of community here so being banned is a great disappointment, that is about all I can say. I never looked at my stats before, was quite surprised by the number of TKs but most of that comes for the early days and at other less managed servers. This is not to say there have not been a lot of accidents, I'm just a little old to have a fast mouse hand and get surprised easily. Anyway, this old man would enjoy being unbanned, I enjoy the company this group brings to my gaming, and I would never TK intentionally.

1. I accidentally shot one or more of my own guys, so I got banned.
2. As for which server, all I can tell is Texas...TeamPlayers...BF2142 + NS Ran
3. I should not be banned because I don't and never would do it on purpose.
4. I have and will continue to be careful not to shot my team mates, more so now that I know you can be banned for it. Promise.

Pappie, I am not the banning admin, but just like Merkavah, are you sure you are recalling the situation accurately? Did you see any messages prior to being kicked? What messages are you seeing when you try to reconnect?

Generally the only TKs that get people banned are intentional TKs and are fairly blatant. i.e. knifing the commander on the flight deck of the friendly titan.

Something isn't adding up just yet. Any ideas?

Well, I thought it was a punkbuster moment. It has happened before and lasted less than a few minutes and after my last post, I went and all was fine, I played.. I had it happen when I was on in less than a few minutes and knew I had not killed one since I had not killed anyone yet. So there may be an issues cause I'm good now so unless someone unbanned me, then it was the server doing crazy things.

I was your banning admin. You were not banned for Teamkilling. You were banned for not being in a squad. You were warned, your were kicked, you were warned and finally banned. I have kicked you from the server on several occasions now for this same reason. We are a teamplay server, we should not have warn and kick you everytime you sign on.

Please adjust unban request to reflect this.
