#1. Why do you think you got banned?
With all respect, abusive admin. During a match 08NOV ~1815 PST I sent over VOIP "You guys gotta relax". I was told to "Fuck off" and was promptly banned with tag "Non teamplayer" and "Coward".

You enjoy TTP? Really? What aspects of it? do you enjoy working together in a squad? Do you enjoy coordinating against steep odds and taking hard objectives? Do you enjoy playing the game in a command structure and heirarchy in which the game was designed?

Because I sure as hell do. And when I have some dumb fuck in my squad clogging up mic air with "dude, you guys need to chill"......that aint teamplay. I banned you, straight up, for thinking you have the right to be as insulting as you were in game. You would never.....EVER....say "dude, you guys need to relax" in a face to face pick up game of basketball or football. If you were in the habit of doing so, you'd have a lot of black eyes and an absolute lack of friends. It's a dick head thing to do. And being the bitch that you were in my squad gives me great frustration when you bail and join another....to run away from your stance on how we need to "calm down" means you don't give a fuck abotu whether we are calm or not.....you just want to be insulting.

Too bad for you, some pretty powerful admins were running that squad.

So.....instead of being a teamplayer lover and champion that you claim to be....instead of saying "allright guys, let's organize and cut down on the chatter", or "roger that, I'm on it"....you bitch out and say "dude calm down".

no helpful purpose, other than to insult. An insulting squad member is not an asset to the squad, the team, or the server.

And insults = bans.

Who's insulting? By relax? Is the advice so offensive that you are attacked, demeaned or affronted by its mere mention? I could have used a different word as you say. Didn't. If the benign relax causes you to lose your mood, insert "teamplay" as was my meaning and lets get back to the game.

a while a ago he was in my squad we were assigned on titan defence, I told my squad what kit to spawn as, and he left and wispered to me "dude you gotta chill" and "telling people what kit to spawn as is just rude", my squad was already like only 4 or 5 people and when he left we did not have a good defence and the other team ran all over us. Because you were not willing to comply to my order of what kit to get we lost the titan and the game. The squad leader is above the squad member and can tell the squad what he wants and if these guidlines are not followed for the srategy then we will lose, also the commander is above the squad leader so if he tell me to do something then I tell you to do it that should be even more of 'you HAVE to do it', this is the "heirarchy" Bigdog talked about that you obviously have a problem with. That day when you left my squad on titan D, the most important squad assignment of the game, I got the blame of losing the titan, I did not call you out but it was all YOU, YOU denied my orders to spawn with a different kit, YOU abandoned your squad, YOU screwed us on our titan, and that sounds like being a non-teamplayer to me.

I'm the new guy. Hello, nice to meet you. I don't yet know who I cant say what to on TTP. I do however have the annoying habit of finding _exactly_ the wrong thing to say whilst intending to be innocent and constructive when dealing with new people and communities I enjoy.

The core fault in my behavior is that I mistake your intense VOIP styles for the typical juvenile fuckwits slobbering into a microphone I find everywhere else. This happens especially when I perceive other peoples frustration coming over my speakers. The combination of intense and frustration pushes my buttons. Intense frustration makes me stupid and doesn't allow me access to the tools I need to behave rationally. I say snarky things and leave squads when told to "Fuck off". Its a social disorder. I avoid intense and frustrating situations because it helps me be a better person.

Consider that despite my social problems I'm an intelligent player and still learning. VOIP is new to me as is 2142. I'm willing to comply with server guidelines and adapt to your intensity. Perhaps after you've shared a server with me a few more occasions and I have played the maps in rotation more than a few times we can squad.

Still relaxed.

I don't blame you for wearing the same thick skin most new gamers in TTP have to wear. Other server....most servers....a vast majority of servers...in all games, are full of punk asses, both as players and admins.

We strive to imrpove that, but in no way does that mean everyone is going to be comatose on the mic, in a "relaxed" manner. People getting intense on the mic makes me do only one thing......perform. Start doing what needs to be done, start doing your job....intensity goes away.

I'll put up your vote, but your entire last post seems like you spent a lot of rational process trying to say a bunch of pretty words....veiling the complete absence of an admission of guilt or responsibility.

I'll put up your vote......in 3 days, you'll have the answer.

As a rule of thumb if you like a community be nice to everyone. A community is an interacting population of various kinds of individuals, if Merriam-Webster is to be believed. While you may not get along with absolutely everyone you should make an effort to get along with everyone around you, not just people you are leery of because they may have the power to ban you.
