Thread: Explanation would be nice - Banned TTP BF2 - 5:05 pm EST 12/23/2007

1. The map had just begun, this was very first thing to occur on the map/the last thing I did prior to being disconnected. I was in a chopper on the carrier (songua I believe) and ranger10 was gunner and I hopped out to let him fly. Then he moved to pilot position and flew off with another gunner. I was in a squad of 3 or 4 and I was just standing on the carrier and next thing I know, 'disconnect' and a ban message stating I was being banned for not being a team player...I've been on this server for a while now, and I honestly have no idea why this occurred.

3. See number one, I can draw no conclusions based on what occurred.

4. If I was warned/made aware that standing on the carrier while in a squad acting as a team and communicating could get you banned, I would've jumped in the water.

7. WTF? Now when I attempt to connect the message says "You Have Been Banned Due to Excessive Team Killing" ..... you can ask anyone on the server who's played alongside me, that is not something I have EVER been guilty off....Honestly, sounds to me like there was an admin on a power trip.

Well, lets see... an explanation would be nice...

But if I were you, I'd start telling the truth. You know why you were banned. So, I'll give you one more chance to come clean, or you can go play somewhere else.

I see you're an admin, I've never once seen you before in all the time I've played on there, so now we're getting closer to the answer.

You were there, and I jumped out of the chopper, you switched to pilot, grabbed another gunner, flew off, etc...you know the rest, and then you banned me...If I'm missing something, please enlighten me.

As I was typing this you posted a 3rd reply, you seem really anxious, perhaps hiding something? Your interpretation of what occurred is something you're entitled to I don't fly well, so being in the pilot position I moved the chopper to try to switch positions and yea it was rough, that's why I don't fly. However when it comes down to it, I did not tk anyone, I did no attempt to tk anyone for a vehicle or anything unappropriate, and the bottom line is I was playing the game abiding by the rule, just because you're in a bad mood or whatever the reason, you shouldn't take it out on others.

And attemping to talk as me stating "since I'm a little kid" I think you've got a touch of agism which is almost as bad as racism.

Well, I was totally right about the power trip. You're just some sad guy who's only outlet is to do trivial things like this for pleasure. Your post is beyond insulting and from a server that I considered exremtely respectful, you've done away with any professionalism or iota of intelligence that encompasses all of TTP.

You weren't banned for your comments. You were banned for intentionally diving the helo into the carrier to try and kill not only me, but those players below me.

However, since you seem adament about wanting to stick to your story, I'll go ahead and give you an unban vote. I find it highly unlikely that it will pass, but who knows.

Your vote will last three days, and will likely end much sooner. At such time, your results will be posted in this forum, so please check this thread occasionally.
