Thread: Probably banned for no reason

Hey. I'm ‡ ALG ‡ [G] Mozi. I just got banned from the regular CSS server for no apparent reason. I was checking out the warehouse on de_nuke, and then all of a sudden I was banned. I was on the CT team. All the Ts were basically down, and the bomb was down. I was running around the warehouse to check. All of a sudden I got banned.

Anyone please let me know on what offense. I wasn't quickswitching (I had an m4a1).

#1. Why do you think you got banned?

That's a good question actually. I really don't know why I got banned. All I did was check around the warehouse while I was in CT with my m4a1, making sure there were no Ts around my area. The bomb was dropped right next to a crate that is not too far from where I was standing.

#2. What server were you on? What admin do you believe banned you? What admins were there playing?

I was on the regular CSS server (not Top5). I don't know who exactly are the admins. I remember seeing -|BIGTEX|- BIGAG , C²C^MasterBlaster, Menoske, { BD } Keiron, -?u?- ?-Lithium™-?-, muG, red zone,"??Å?? F??"

#3. Why should you be unbanned?

I believe I didn't do anything wrong at all. I was checking around the warehouse, looking for the few remaining stragglers. Again, why I was banned is beyond me.

I know this isn't much of an argument for defending myself, but I really don't know what to defend myself for, if I believe I didn't do anything wrong. Under what charges was I banned for? I didn't receive any warning; I wasn't quickswitching a sniper rifle, because I was using an M4a1. If I were not close enough to the bomb, and I should be defending it, well, there were others who do that all the time. I remember red zone was lost in that server, and he wasn't doing the objectives, but the admin kindly warned him or even asked whether he was lost or not.

I'm also sure I wasn't ticking everyone off. I only communicated through my mic to give my teammates congrats, nice try, where the enemies are at, I'm diffusing, cover me, responding to people, etc. I wasn't mic spamming or annoying everyone.

#4. A written statement that you will refrain from doing anything that will get you banned again.

I will make sure that I'll refrain from doing whatever wrong I did that the admins saw and thought that it was necessary to ban me. Whatever I did, I don't know, but if the admins tell me what offense I did and warn me, I'll stop. I know this game is a team-based game, and I recognize that Texas Team Players is making this game what it's supposed to be. If I wasn't following calls on that particular time frame, my mistake, for I did not hear them.

#5. Failure to address all of the above questions clearly will result in your post being locked and/or your unban request to go unprocessed. If you don't care, we don't care.

I do care, because it's an awesome server. I just don't want this server to be in my "dumbest place" servers just because of an unknown reason why I was banned.

#6. If your ban is sustained (upheld by the voting admins), you will have to wait at least 30 days before any additional request to be "unbanned" can be accepted.

I do hope this process will get through quickly.

Thank you for your time Texas Team Players. I know you are doing your jobs admin, but please at least let me know of the offense I was charged at. I really do hope there was a misunderstanding, so we may let this incident past us.

Believe me, I'm not trying to start a fight here. It wasn't meant to be taken in literally. I'm sorry if you guys got offended.

EDIT: The title is "Probably banned for no reason". I'm just saying this may or may not be without a reason. And sorry if requoting my title means I'm picking a fight. The truth is, I'm not. If I should make another topic where I should not say what's on my mind, then fine, I'll do that. I really don't mean to say that if I'm perm. banned, then I'll give this place a bad rep. By no means at all, I don't really want to make you guys look bad.

Like I said earlier, I know you guys are doing your job to make CSS what it's supposed to be: Team-based gameplay. You're right, that maybe I shouldn't write down "banned for no reason" and that all of you are professionals at what you do. For me though, I felt it was without a reason and why I thought I was banned for no reason. I didn't feel like I knew why I was banned. And I guess that you guys interpret the "no reason" as a way for me to challenge you guys, instead of as a thought process of experience I'm feeling.
