Thread: Admin Abuse.

#1. Why do you think you got banned?
Refrain from speaking like an idiot. Keep in mind that server admins and those who own servers typically aren't leet speaking dweebo's. Clearly, and calmly, tell us what you think you did to get yourself banned.

I pressed a binded key while in game which said the words:"smoke weed errrrrrrr day"


#2. What server were you on? What admin do you believe banned you? What admins were there playing?
Our admin identities are typically kept secret, so just name as many players as you can think of. Maybe take a look at your psychostats (CS:S, DoD:S, or TF2) and see who you were killing at the time. Browse your screenshots. It's extremely helpful to us, as well, if you provide links to your player stats, such as in those mentioned above, BF2 stats, or BF2142 stats. BE SURE TO INCLUDE IT IN YOUR POST. To expedite your unban, you MUST include identifying information about your player. For Source games, that's a steamID. For BF games, that's a player name and/or CD-hash (that's an encrypted ID for your CD-key, which is what the bans are logged by).

your admin obviously was trying to kick me before i had a chance to start my demo. i was soon asked to return to your server by a regular and by one new person to the server whom joined off of me. i have a demo of what happend after that but i do not know how to put a demo in your forums so please add me to xfire (atomik707) kus thats the only way i know how to send a demo.


#3. Why should you be unbanned?
We're not asking for an apology, unless you got banned for being a real jerk, which we typically don't do. A good answer would be "I should have been more clear in explaining how I made that kill, instead of just saying 'I'm wall hacking right now. Eat it, admin!'. In the future, I will keep in mind that this is not my server, and next time I am questioned as to the level of my skill and playing style, I will be more upfront with my explanations."

this is not meant to be insulting/disrespectful in any way:
i personally think the admin whom was speaking to me had a bad day or i killed them too much or something beccause they over reacted and in my opinion abused. i told him i understood and would not do it again. it was a one time offence and it was a binded key. and one more thing...
why is it ok for ttp regulars and admins to not adhere to the ttp rules?
i have seen in your server as i am now becoming more of a regular; regulars speak of drinking and being intoxicated, i have seen them not "finishing the objective or die trying", and i have seen awps on winning teams, it seems as if the ttp admins are above the players in there servers and therefore above the "rules" they "uphold".
i personally love your servers for the team play.

#4. A written statement that you will refrain from doing anything that will get you banned again.
Keep in mind, you are now on the short list of people needing to be banned. Even a minor slip-up will get you back in the hole.

#5. Failure to address all of the above questions clearly will result in your post being locked and/or your unban request to go unprocessed. If you don't care, we don't care.

I think the part that got you banned was not the initial controversial comment, but the rebuttal, "relax" . (Which isnt nearly as bad as something like "stfu" like we normally see around these parts, lolz)

I was here for the whole thing. Commendation to the admin for sustaining the drug talk. Commendation for you taking it lightly, but seriously. Shuns to the admin for getting mad at "lol" in the first response from atomik. Shuns to you for saying "relax".

After the incident, I'd say you should be unbanned. Let's hope they see it that way too.

I was your banning admin

I banned you for disrespecting the admin(me) after I kicked you the first time, You hit a bind key with a drug related quote on it. I told you in god talk "No drug talk!!" yet you think its funny and than tell me to "relax". If a cop asks you not to do something..are you gonna laugh at the cop and tell him to "relax"??? I kicked you after you made the comment "relax" than you come back into the server and rant about admin abuse....I should have banned you right off the top when you were trying to tell me how to do my job, I kicked you instead and than you come back into the server and start calling it abuse which to me is a sign of disrespect. Let me give you some friendly advice about TTP and our admin team. When an admin asks you not to do something the only thing you should be saying is "it wont happen again", "sorry about that", "no problem..my bad" or just dont say anything at all and go about with the game play. If you wanna be a little smartass punk..than you need to pack your bags and get the fuck out of here.

Yes, I do see where you are coming from. I take things lightly often, and forget sometimes that things that I believe are funny, are not so funny to other people. I apologize for any inconvenience that has happened, and it definitely won't happen again.

Give us 3-5 days to get the votes in and well get back to you asap. Banning you was not personal...its only business.
