Thread: Unban request on 2142

#1. Why do you think you got banned?

Not exactly sure but the hunch is that our squad didn't follow the commanders EXACT orders. In short he told us to defend toll station and our squad did but from the train cars on the right. We were using mics and I didn't see the ban coming, dunno if the commander was the admin but I got banned because I was the squad leader (my 2 freinds in the squad were only kicked.)

2. What server were you on and what admin might have banned you?

Texas Team Players 2142 conquest, Don't remember the admins name (keep in mind this ban is roughly 2months old)

#3. Why should you be unbanned?
Because I was not banned for any justifiable reason, it may have been a wrong click or a monday for that matter :) Reason why I ignored this ban eventhough the TTP serves were my favorites was that there were other servers out there, now that number is declining and it would be nice to play on a good ol' server agian.

4. A written statement that you will refrain from doing anything that will get you banned again.

(this is almost curel,but here we go...)
I will refrain from any conduct that may have been deemed offensive against any of the Texas Team Player rules.

Thank you for posting in the correct format. Your ban is more like 4 months old, took you long enough to get here.

Make sure to always communicate with your commander. A lot of commanders say not to push past the wall at toll station...

Your banning admin has been informed that you are here and they will be with you shortly.

In the meantime, look around the forum and make sure to read the rules of the 2142 server.

There are plenty of other servers out there, although you say they are dwindling.

Not a good reason for us to allow you to play on our servers.

Do you think you got removed by accident?

I don't think the Admins accidentally push the ban button..... Yet, I am sure they meant to, when they do.


I'll let your banning Admin address you though. You need to get the rest of your info in your unban request before he gets here though.

We were using voip in the squad, that is why i liked that server b/c it was very team focused. Most of the time no one talks.

You should go ahead and put your stats up as well while you wait.

By the way, using voip and listening to your commander are 2 different things. If a commander tells you to stand around and do jumping jacks, you do that. WHILE you are that, you can ask ask the commander if you could do this instead. You do not outright disobey the order and then say "Because I was not banned for any justifiable reason, it may have been a wrong click or a monday for that matter". You disobeyed orders.

But wait for your admin to show up, and you can hear their side of the story.

Chicken, did you not think you did anything wrong???? Seems to me that there might be an attitude problem.... You need to recognize you did something wrong in order to be forgiven...

So the question again is.... "Do you recognize the wrong you did, and are willing to rectify that wrong?"

I recognize now what the situation was, I wasn't being smart (if I was it wasn't intentional and I apologize)
