Thread: CoD4 Ban..

#1. Why do you think you got banned?
Savatage, Wet Works - I was playing with my AK-47, moving with the bomb, I just got killed by a sniper for the the 15th time.. I ASKED my team if I could go sniper for acouple minutes.. They said "Only if yur successful." So I went sniping, I got both of their snipers. I started moving with the bomb, I got onto a crate because I was being sniped at yet again, so I got onto a crate, laid down, shot the sniper, then bam, no warning, permanent ban.. I know I was banned for camping before but this time I talked it over WITH my team AND I moved around.. So I wouldn't even consider that camping I!

#2. What server were you on? What admin do you believe banned you? What admins were there playing?
The CoD4 Server, not sure, IDK all the admins and alot of people were on at the time.

#3. Why should you be unbanned?
I play TTP almost every night.. I enjoy playing with everyone and am pretty sure people enjoy playing with me. This camping thing.. All I understand that camping in the dictionary is on the basis of technology - staying in 1 place getting multiple kills. I wasn't camping according to that definition, I was moving with the bomb with a sniper, never stayed in a place more than 30 seconds.

#4. A written statement that you will refrain from doing anything that will get you banned again.
I, Tylenol, will never use a sniper class again thus not being banned ever again for anything.

You were playing with your Assault rifle and doing fine. Then you switched to your sniper rifle, parked yourself in the bridge of the ship and sniped people. I watched you hit 5 or 6 people while moving back and forth along the bridge. This wasn't simply taking out the enemy snipers and then movig on the bomb. You sat in the bridge and camped.

So I issued you a warning. it read "Tylenol, stop camping and push the bomb. This is your _only_ warning."

You imedietly started moving toward the bomb. Or so I thought. Instead you pushed up to one of the midpoint bridge structures and climbed the stairs, hopped onto one of the crates and went prone and started sniping again. The bomb was sitting unclaimed right in front of you.

And in that unban thread you promised that you had read the server rules and swore to abide by them. That is why you only got one warning this time.

I'll give you some time to reply to me because before I put up a vote for your unban I want you to explicitly state that you understand and agree to the Server Rules and Policies.

Well, I'm being completely honest here; You know how you are so involved in a game you really kinda don't pay attention to chat? I'm sorry for not paying attention to my only warning. I fully agree about banning me, If I was in your place I would have banned me too. I have just reviewed the Rules And Policies, And fully understand them. I got banned before for camping, but this time i really didn't know that I was camping and didn't know anyone had a problem with what I was doing. Estimation is, i asked my team if I could snipe for a minute, I stayed above for about 2 minutes, then told them I would move up, the bomb got tooken away as I was moving up, So I moved back a little bit to kill the guy, u know, hide behind a wall and wait so I can snatch the bomb. I went above the crates, and saw someone had their eye on me, I went into prone and tried to snipe them, then I was kicked. That the full story, the truth. You might have saw it different in your eyes, and I apologize, but It was only a 3 minute thing. My team really didn't seem to have a problem with it, and again apologize that I didn't review my warning. Right now I'm just reviewing the forums a little bit, so feel free to respond as fast as you want. Thanks

Tylenol,

You realize this is your second time being banned for the same reason. I am willing to change my vote to allow you back on the server because of the maturity you are showing on the forums. *If* you get unbanned I want to see 110% maturity coming from you in-game. And no more camping. Always push the objective.

I now know how serious camping can be on this server. I love TTP a lot and will do anything to keep playing. I will give it my 120%.
