Thread: CS:S Got Ban ?

I've know about TTP for quite along time and I thought I'd go play on the CSS server tonight.

#1. Why do you think you got banned?
I was playing on cs_office and I got told that quick switching was a banable offense.

I explained to the admin that I wasn't quick switching I was hitting Q.
No scripting involved.
I would shoot the AWP, hit Q go to knife, hit Q go back to awp.
I was told that this was an exploit, it is not.
They patched the "bug" over a year ago, the same amount of time passes when you hit Q 2 times as does the re loading animation.
I advised said admin to just go on ahead and ban as wouldn't stop hitting Q.
I was told that if I hit Q again I would be banned.
I was trying to explain how I have been playing CS for while and it's just a habit when I was banned on the spot.
I was not disrespectful, I did not curse , I was trying to TALK.


#2. What server were you on? What admin do you believe banned you? What admins were there playing?
I was playing on the CSS pub.
Very easy to tell who the admins were , they kept getting killed over and over by me.

#3. Why should you be unbanned?
I was not bant for what I was warned for and I was talking in a respectful tone.
I was once an admin on TTP for Clan [RIP] and I know the rules or at least thought I did.
I wasn't being disrespectful, I wasn't cursing, or arguing.
I was saying how I disagree with using Q is an exploit.

#4. A written statement that you will refrain from doing anything that will get you banned again.
It's a habbit to hit Q , you guys are banning for this seriously ?

Well, you were once an Admin and know the rules, Admins don't discuss anything in game, that is what we have forums for, Yet you should know this.
So, were you just trying to argue and stir up problems for the other players and disrupt the game?

That doesn't sound like a Yes sir, I will comply to the rules of your Server........
It sounds to me like you are saying it is a habbit and you will continue to do what you want, despite the Rules.
So how did you get into a scripting quick swithing habbit? Why would you do something like that, since it never has offered an advantage?
It really doesn't matter though, since it is against the rules though right, and we are in the right and You are the one in the Wrong.
