Banned earlier today - ikarus

Hi everyone,

my handle is ikarus or |2emix but late at night I have been going by Obama or something of that nature. Anyway I usually play late night wit Hub, Mango, Wiked, and Church. Today on Inferno I think on either the CS:S server or the CS:S top5 server I was banned for not following the call to go to bomb site A. I am not saying it was not justified b/c I did go against the call but as most of you know I am all about team play.

The team called bombsite A and I was late coming out of spawn and noticed many cts trying to go around and come up behind us while we tried to get into A. Last minute without warning my team, I tried to slow down there flanking by holding back a second to slow them down long enough so that the team would not be caught in a cross fire in the hall going to bombsite A as there is no cover. I killed the first guy laid down some fire to keep the other guys back while I started rushing towards A. As soon as I hit the ramp to middle I was kicked and banned.

I want to ask to be unbanned as I love this server and I am all about the team play as those I mentioned above can vouch for me that I am a team player. I follow calls to the T normally and this was a split second decision to help the team. I did not just go rogue and do my own thing.

In the future if I am unbanned I will follow the call as I always do and if I see an opportunity I will let the team know what I am doing unless I am told otherwise. I hope you guys can give me another chance and Hub can vouch for me on this promise. Happy CSing until I hear back.. I miss ur servers already :(

First off, welcome to the forums. It's regrettable that your first post has to be in the banned forums, but I appreciate you taking the time to make a solid post.

I had noticed for a couple of rounds a few players not keeping up with the rest of the team, and one of them happened to be you. And on any rush on inferno, we need everyone to be on the same page. Like you stated, we were in A, but you were not.

However, you have made a good post and you seem to get it now, so I will put up a vote for you which will last no longer than 3 days.

Don't sweat it though Ikarus, a majority of our regulars and even staff have been to the banned forums. It's all about what you learn from it.

You're a great guy and you're exactly what TTP is looking for in a player. Always on the mic, making calls, strats, and calling out enemies. Welcome home.
