Nietzsche (Banned for vulgarity/disrespect)

#1: Why do you think you got banned?
I was playing with a shotgun, and I was doing quite well, and a guy in my clan said that was me "nigga skillz" and so I said over mic: "Yehahhh ma nigga skills." and an admin said "Please refrain from vulgarities" or something like that, and I said that nigga (note: not nigger. My apologies for typing that though) was a term of endearment, for I was black. After that he said something about being purple, and then five minutes had passed and I had died, and I said, what about being purple, or what if I'm purple or something like that, and it appeared very smart-assish, and I was banned.

#2. What server were you on? What admin do you believe banned you? What admins were there playing?
A. - I was on the CS:S server
B. & C. - I only know one admin, and he was not present, so I have absolutely no clue.

#3. Why should you be unbanned?
I feel that I should be unbanned because 1. It was a misunderstanding, 2. I now realize that because of the relationship I hold with the administrators of the TTP servers (them being of higher status/power and all...) that they are always right. 3. It was a minor infraction.

#4. A written statement that you will refrain from doing anything that will get you banned again.
I will refrain from using vulgarities/obscenity even if I believe it to be a term of endearment, community standards dictate vulgarity, and obviously this community would prefer me to refrain from talking dirty.

So to come to conclusion, my in game name is Nietzsche, and my steam id is Steam_0:0:11997298. :k

As for the admin he knows, it's me. Nietzsche (ferraribird) asked me to fill in for his clan in CAL, which I am. He really is black, fyi.

We hardly ever ban for using a term like nigga, it's slang... and a lot of us talk like that. I know bigdog and sjt have said it plenty of times. It's how you use it that counts.

There is a difference in "nigga" and "nigger". I think everyone can agree on that. Hell, the MOTD has songs on it that say "nigga".

Admin, can you weigh in?

Thank you for your correct post.

I belive i was your banning admin Niet.

The only reason I said something about it was when you said it, other players were like "Admin no vulgarites" and things to such, which showed me that it obviously disrupted other players.

So I just simply asked you to refrain from vulgarites. At this point, a simple "ok, sorry" would of been nice. But you continued on and made the comment "It's ok, I can say that, I am black." In which I then explained that "I didn't care if you were black, white, purple or orange, keep the comments to yourself" Then you said "what if iam purple" At that point, I had enough of your back talk, and banned you. Although i belive this ban was a temp ban, and not permanent. If, bychance, it was permanent, I will post your vote ASAP.
