Thread: Ban June 29th,09, PR.

Hello Admins,

I am posting to appeal my ban that was issued June 29th 2009, on the PR server. It was 10:56 pm last night and I was piloting cobra on muttrah. I was flying for a while no problems, then I returned to carrier and a guy with the tag [TCF] was shooting me, making me bleed in the cockpit. I asked him twice to stop, ( you can check chat logs) and I even said in main chat, [TCP] Name, stop shooting cobra. My gunner also complained in the chat. I tked him only after he refused to stop shooting. I then was involved in a verbal argument with him in chat. I said he was an f'ing idiot (or something of the sort). I have been playing on Texas server for a long time, I have never been banned or in trouble before. I ask that you please look at chat logs, and think about unbanning me. I am sorry I tk'ed [TCF], and next time I will report him to the proper person. Even though he was shooting me intentionally, I should have reported him on forums and not have killed him. Thanks for your time and I am sorry.

Hello SwatiusPilot,

I am the admin that banned you and will be handling you unban request. As you suspected, you were banned for intentionally teamkilling your teammate. Had you given me and the other admins on the server a chance to determine what exactly was going on, rather than taking the law into your own hands, someone else would probably be here instead of you. I'm glad that you understand why you were banned and I sincerely hope that you will follow the server rules in the future.

I would also like to know why you chose to link me to a profile different than the one you were banned under.

However, before I continue processing your unban request, I would like to discuss some concerns with your gameplay in the past. It has been brought to my attention that you may, at times, choose to place your desire to fly above the needs and better interests of your team. Could you please shed some light on that for us? I'm sure 11Bravo will want to ask you a question or two based on your response.

The stats linked is my BF2 account. That is the only account I have played BF2 on. I use the name SwatiusPilot only in PR. Before I used SwatiusPilot, I was "Zefn."

In regards to the wasting assests, not helping the team, and waiting on carrier, I feel that I have a been a superior pilot playing on Texas. I have many people thank me when I get them safely to their destination. I do fly alot yes, but I sometimes fight on ground when all helos are taken.

I also feel I am helping the team when I fly because I am an experienced pilot. When there are only 3-4 people on each side I do not see anything wrong with hopping in a helo, because the server will eventually fill up, and I am usually a pretty soilid pilot. Usually there are no helos present when I join.

I rarely waste assests, but sometimes I have crashed. This is always an accident, and I feel awful when I do make a rare mistake.

When I do fight on the ground, I usually end up calling for supplies and waiting 15 mins for a pilot to attempt to drop them in tricky situations.They either end up missing the drop zone, or crashing. This is why like to fly, because I can get the job done.

I realize sometimes I might be needed on the ground, and I will make a great improvement to aid my fellow soldiers when they ask for the additional help.


I always lead a squad on kozelsk, and we always excel. I have several spots I like to defend.



In response to the quote u posted, I was the only HELI pilot in the beginning, when the four guys were on ground. He failed to mention I delived him supplies many times, and dropped his squad mates off when they respawned. This story is missing critical componets.

Not trying to be rude or arrogant here, but I feel like a person should do what they are best at in the game while also helping others. It so happens I am best at piloting hueys, so I try to do that. But as I mentioned before I will think about my previous actions, and I will improve my gameplay. If we have helos already, I will assist the ground troops.

Oh one more thing,

I have never ever wasted all the assests on the deck of carrier on muttrah. Never ever. I just wanted to add this, I forgot to mention it in my paragraph. Thanks, and once again I am aware of my actions and plan on improving.

When I am flying and I am squad leader on muttrah I am the only heli squad leader to setup a quick transit system from DOCKS FB to front lines. I have a huey on standby near thr FB to pickup passengers and ferry them to the front lines. I am very efficient, and I do try to help the team despite what was said about me in disruptive player forum.

My supply request are usually handled in under 3 minutes, depending on if I have to reload crate or not.

And usually my passengers arrive safely to their destinations.



I've seen a lot of people flip on deck, crash into deck, takeoff and crash, etc, so I like to fly. I can't help it, I have my private pilots liscense and after work I just like to come home, open a cold one and fly a bit. I realize this is a TEAM players server, and I will make nescessary adjustments so this won't happen again. Thanks and hope to hear back from you soon.
