Thread: Banned for....Pubbing?

So I joined my friend Charmander in your server today. Went T side, as they were losing, and bought an AK, nades, you know...The works. Some guy was making up strats and the whole kazam so I was just like, 'Well, I'm gonna rush lower B to mid.' Now, less than 30 seconds in the server, I get slayed. I ask "Why'd I get slayed?" and someone else, Relevent? Relevence? someone with a name like that was saying "It's just a pub, what are you doing?" Then some guy on a mic says I need to follow the admins strats or I'll be kicked and banned.

No idea who the admin was, or the guy on the mic, but I didn't read anywhere stating that I had to "follow strats and not pub".

This is a teamplay server and community, hence the name Texas ...TeamPlayers...

You are expected to use your mic, follow calls, and back up your team mates. If you want to do your own thing, then go play a single player game.

I would also suggest following the proper format for an unban thread, or else nobody is really going to care.

I really didn't get a chance to "use your mic, follow calls, and back up your team mates." as I was slayed 10 seconds into the round.

I don't know why I was banned. No one gave warning. There were no "Rules" posted.

And I did nothing wrong. A pub is a pub, and I'll follow strats in a scrim. If I'm unbanned, I'll "try" to comply with your admins to "follow calls".

As for the "fuck off" statement, I'm sure adults wouldn't go so far as calling out foul language this early in the argument. I've not been hostile, or even upset. I'd just like some information as to why I was banned, why you guys are so hostile and unforgiving, and to be unbanned.

you're hostile and upset when you say bullshit like that, most especially when you quote it.

you'll play how we tell you to play, most especially because you are now banned. this isn't your pub. It's TTP's. And at TTP, people call out strategies and rushes and defenses, and counters. People call out for help, and give eachother orders and requests. You could be one of those people. you should have been, and you wouldn't have been banned.

If you're not part of that, because you think it's beneath you, then fuck you. If you're not part of that because you think pubs are jokes and you're some super OGL CAL CPL pro gamer, then fuck you. If you're not part of that because you play for fun, then fuck you there as well.

It's not beneath you to play with others, to work with others, to play as a team. and if the team leader makes a call you don't like, then you either step up and be the team leader, or you shut up and play as the team leader has called it. I didn't say "admin", since admins don't make calls as admins. they make them as players.

Never said it was MY pub. In fact, I said it was yours. Or TTPs, if it's a joint payment thing. I never spit on you, nor insulted you. And I take quite offense to that 14 year old remark, as I'm the one with less hostility here.

I never had a chance to help out the team because I was slayed and banned 15 seconds into the round. With no warnings, because of some unspoken rules.

I'll admit ignoring the calls, but I hear calls in lots of servers. Ignoring those never got me slayed and banned.
