1. Call was unspecific, maybe admin thought i wasnt following call
2. Steam Id.. Steam_0:1:143058, texasteamplayers cs:s top5 server, not sure on the admin. players that were there, homicide, pepsifluxx,dan the pan, schreii, fav5 denied, etnies, moe, pen 15 mac n cheese, anubis, aw banana
3. First offense if this was even one, im still unclear why i was banned
4. I will do my best to follow ALL server(s) rules after this situation is explained to me.

Thanks for following the format, this is a my bad. Someone was just banned on the other server with a similar name, and I jumped the gun before verifying. I'll unban you now. Till then take a look around the forums. We got a great community here.

I'm rather new to the community so some of you may not know me. I was a witness to this banning and will post from my point of view. In case you are wondering my motivation for registering an account it is because I know Tom Araya personally (obviously not the band member but the CS player).

Essentially, we were playing Dust 2 both on the T side. The strat call was A. To be honest, the T had a slight advantage. Tom was using an AWP moving up long A. I engaged a player from short A - Tom then killed this player from long A then was banned.

I hate to sound like the naive type but I am really not sure why Tom got banned at all. If it was using an AWP (which was not restricted) while our T was winning wouldn't a warning or slay be more appropriate than a full ban? From my understanding Tom has been part of your community for a number of months now.

While the round was getting played out an Admin said "We do not discuss such things here" which presumably was in response to someone who was dead asking why Tom had been banned. I asked why Tom had been banned next round and received no response.

I took a screenshot of the players in the game shortly after my departure.

No worries about jumping the gun, i understand u guys deal with alot of morons/cheaters.. Thanks for the quick reply =)

ps. How long does it take for the ban to be lifted? a map rotation or as soon as an admin can see to it?

It is usually less than 24 hours. The servers restart everyday and sample the banned logs. Your ban will have been removed and the servers will notice this tomorrow morning.
