Thread: Banned

#1 I was playing on Piranesi about 20 minutes ago when our team started getting beaten badly due to lack of teamwork. I had just been knived, so I wasn't in the best of spirits. Sjt17 started venting his frustrations at the team, trying to organize them, and I tried to calm him down by making a comment to the effect of, "Hey man, you need to calm down if you're going to give orders, or nobody will listen to you." My tone was probably smart-assed, but I was truly trying to benefit our team. For that, I apologize. I used no vulgarities and meant no offense; I thought I was tactful in my word choice but evidently not in my tone. Anyway, I think I only pissed off Sjt17 more, and he started getting angry at me and saying things like I "told him to shut up." That was not what I said, but I tried to explain that over the mic...that only put me into hotter water. Finally I said, "I'm just trying to be civil, that's all." I should have kept my mouth shut; that got me banned. Anyway, that is my perspective of the incident, I'm sure it will differ from different sides...so you be the judge.

#2 I believe sjt17 banned me, though I cannot be certain.

I believe I should be unbanned I misspoke. Due to my frustration at being knived I tried to challenge another frustrated admin. I should not have spoken like a smart ass, my ultimate goal was to calm sjt down enough for us to work better as a team. Ironically, he was trying to do the same thing and I should have just let him talk. I understand that the admins have the right to do whatever they wish with their server, and may ban and kick for anything they want to do; that is their privilege, not mine.

In any event, I hope you reconsider this ban. I believe myself to be a recognized and valuable member of the TTP community, and I would enjoy to continue playing on your servers. It is one of the things I look forward to while taking a break from my studies at UT. You have my word that I refrain from "calming down" the admins any further, or any other actions that could lead to my ban. My sincere apologies.

Yes I was on the team with you and sjt. We were losing round after round, not because we were the worst team, but because a lot of people werent going with the call. I see sjt as a very competitive player who always wants to win, which i give him a lot of respect for. I feel that sjt had all the right to get heated on mic, because we had people camping and going a with the bomb when we called b and took it fine. He was just trying to get us together and make us the winning team. Holic if no one took charge like sjt did, then we may have not won another round the whole map. You have to learn to respect people when they try to help out are team! I personally thought that there was no reason to call him out like that and curse at him.

I am just speaking my word and giving my opinion, I am not an admin and this ban is for the bigs to decide.

Thank you, I didn't realize that I cursed at him. I was out of line in calling him out though, and I understand your point and respect him for getting heated. I was also frustrated (I had just been knived). Did I actually curse at him? I don't remember saying anything vulgar at all.

I was there as well and it sounded from my point of you you were like purposely being a smart ass you not have wished to sound like that but thats how it sounded and I do not recall you cursing.

Holic I have never had a problem with you b4, and it seems like you were just in a bad mood like you said, but like I said this is not up to me and is for the admins to decide!

Yes, I was there too same team. I think Holic did not do anything wrong. He was just explaining to Sjt that by yelling at the team it would not help them. Obviously Sjt was angry at something before that and that just got him more angry. I didn't hear any curse words but I could have not heard them. I don't think he was trying to should smartass-ish.

This is not up to me to unbann him but I think he should be unbanned, because he was just voicing his opinion about helping the team.
