Request For UnBan on CS:S Server
Hey, played yesterday, banned today, what's up with that?
1. Why do you think you got banned?
I honestly do not know? Here is the story.
Yesterday I was playing like I always do, following the calls, playing my best, trash talking to the other teams players which I have a personal rivalry agaisnt cause it is encouraged ;D Talk among my team that a player was hacking on the other side, I trash talked to him accusing him after watching him 1st person yada yada, admin said Don't accuse others, or someone else did cause its against the rules, so I stopped the accusations, and I was kicked for not being a team player? I did not go right back cause I did not feel like going back, 2 people in their I hate at the time, so thought I would hit up a Source Mod. Woke up today, tried to hop on, I was banned? Im stunned!
#2. What server were you on? What admin do you believe banned you? What admins were there playing?
The server was 72.233.44.146:27015, I don't know who the Admin(s) is(are) so I can't give answer to the other two questions.
#3. Why should you be unbanned?
Because from my knowledge I have done nothing against any of the TTP Rules. If I did please tell me which rule I have broken, and why, so I may refrain from doing anymore of it.
#4. A written statement that you will refrain from doing anything that will get you banned again.
Currently at this moment I do not know what that is? No disrespect, I just truly do not know.

And it's the same stuff for quite a few more lines. I told you to leave your comments be over god chat, but you just had to keep opening your mouth.

12th Mar 2010 8:17:42 am i piss down ur throat
What part of that is trash talk? You admit to hating 2 of the players in the servers at the time, and all of that is you having a personal vendetta against another player(s), stirring up unneeded drama in game. And your chat log is full of this shit. I'm actually surprised you haven't been here sooner. It's clear you have some major anger issues while you're in game, which I would recommend you clear up if/when you are unbanned.
Also, accusing someone like that really doesn't help the situation at all. It alerts the person you think is hacking that you, and most likely others, are watching, most likely prompting him to toggle them off (if he is indeed hacking which, in this case, was false).
It wasn't only me that was getting tired of your mouth, either. The whole server praised the ban after you were gone. So, are you going to clean up your act, or is this going to be a recurring problem with you?

Re: Request For UnBan on CS:S Server
That is trash talk in my opinion because it is made to fluster the other player so he becomes motivated by anger and becomes sloppy, seeing this and also wondering whats going through his mind is humorous, and when your happy, you play better. Plus his personal opinion of me matters, if he is disgusted and repulsed perchance he might RQ, or talk back, causing him to delay w/e his call is.
So trash talking is not degrading a member of the other team? Also when I was told not to make any more accusations, I ceased with calling him a hacker or bringing any light to that personal ideal, I mainly degrade the others to try to get them flustered and hoping to cause them to play worse, while making me laugh and making me play better.
However if degrading is not a form of trash talk, what can be defined as trash talk?
The kick for "not being a team player." Yet I followed the calls and did my best for my team. How come it was for a rule I was following and not the reason you kicked me?
I do see that I was wrong for continuing after you said to stop the comments now, so I will Heed the Admin, even if I think I am protected by the base rules.

Re: Request For UnBan on CS:S Server
The kicked for not being a teamplayer is what everyone gets when they are kicked/banned. It is not the reason for the ban.
talking trash is like saying "oooh, I shot you". and "hey, nice job catching my nade in your mouth". Or, "hey, your mom wants to get on the mic and tell you that you suck at this game...hold on".
Those comments are trash talking, as intended for the server to encourage, between opposing teammates. Just like in a pick-up game of basketball, or any other game where you are forced to be a teammate to people you don't know personally...you have to know the difference.

Re: Request For UnBan on CS:S Server
I see...
So constantly attacking another player is a no-no. Alright, I will keep that in mind and make the change, keeping it at just basic remarks in place of full out degrading. Thanks for letting me know the difference of the acceptable trash talking, and what is not. I always do intend to follow the rules of TTP servers, it is so much fun to be apart of it.

I'm glad that we could come to an understanding. I will put up a vote for you, which will last no longer than 3 days (usually finishes much sooner).

Re: Request For UnBan on CS:S Server
Unrelated but I will answer.
I have tried to teach myself C++ and Java. Two valuable skills in the modern age, one of my friends got me on to it, well we have been doing projects, a .pdf info feild reader and other things. He came up with a idea to make a hack for a game called CrossFire, first question to him was is it legal? He said it was in real world law since it was a game. My second question was why? He wanted to see if we could do it, so he downloaded a free hack from some site, we opened it up studied it, tried to make our own. It kinda worked but it was weird, me and him were at the same comp, he started up the CrossFire and the hack, it was just for a simple wall hack. He said it was a hack were you can see players through walls to know where they are. It kinda did that and it kinda didn't. The players showed through the wall but the rest of the game like freaked out, tons of lag and weird graphic errors.
It was for a learning experience, we still tinker with other scripts and things like our recent one is studying windows 7 and how they use the little desktop pull down thing for hulu on the desktop and such, so we can make other programs like that and sell them possible lol.
But theirs my hacking experience, I personnel don't see the point cause how is it fun? If you know where everyone is whats the point? You just go around and kill them, no listening for steps, no strategy, no shock when you come around a corner and their is a enemy, it seems kinda pointless. Hacks just dull games to the point where instead of a buffea you can eat, your eating plain oatmeal. lol
But yeah to sum it up, once with our hack for a learning experience.
Any other off topic questions? :6
