Banned for what reason?
As I do not teamkill and only attempt to play as a team member, perhaps my recent ban could be explained? It would seem to be an admin mistake... thanks

Re: Banned for what reason?
Read the sticky, and follow the instructions. When you have posted in the proper format, the Admin that banned you will address your ban.

Re: Banned for what reason?
Ok, I see..
1. banned apparently for teamkilling
2. BF2 server
3. I did not teamkill anyone so I think I might be the wrong choice
4. I have been playing with you guys for a while and always felt part of the team.
This was a bit odd for sure

Re: Banned for what reason?
I am your banning admin.
You need a link to your stats before we can begin in earnest.
This is your one and only chance to be honest and upfront with us. Think long and hard, and do not squander this opportunity. I might also suggest putting some actual effort into your unban request, too.

I include a link here:

I am not sure what you mean by effort? I enjoy playing with the group and would like to continue. I believe that many enjoy playing with me as well. Any team kills of my own side in the last round were purely unintentional and to be honest , I was unaware of them.

Re: Banned for what reason?
You were banned for an incident on 7/30. The map was Jalalabad, at the Junkyard flag, on the MEC side. You were an Engineer.
Care to shed some light on what transpired?

Re: Banned for what reason?
10 days ago? I have probably played in 100 games since then, I can not say that I recollect the incident at all. I know that I have had the unfornuate luck occaisionally of jumping from a moving car and having mines go off or accidentally shooting a teamate but there is no way I can remeber one incident in one game in the past. Sorry. Pehaps you could enlighten me? This is very odd indeed..

Re: Banned for what reason?
Oh, I think you'd remember this one, given that you ducked out immediately afterward to avoid being banned.
The pertinent logs:
Code:-1 Admin None ServerMessage [00:05:09] *** SWAPPING TEAMS *** 0 =PHX= h7g6f5 1 Global [00:08:58] WTF 26 CrabbyAppleton 1 Global [00:09:21] oops -1 Admin None ServerMessage [00:09:22] TKPUNISH: ethnobeast punishes CrabbyAppleton for a teamkill ( ethnobeast has 1 punishes and 0 forgives) 0 =PHX= h7g6f5 1 Team [00:09:24] HUD_TEXT_CHAT_TEAMWTF WAS THAT CRABBY -1 Admin None ServerMessage [00:09:41] TKPUNISH: ethnobeast punishes CrabbyAppleton for a teamkill ( ethnobeast has 2 punishes and 0 forgives) 13 ethnobeast 1 Team [00:09:56] HUD_TEXT_CHAT_TEAMkick crappy appleton tking 13 ethnobeast 1 Team [00:11:10] HUD_TEXT_CHAT_TEAMcrappy appleton is a fuck tard
So, how's that recollection coming?

Re: Banned for what reason?
It is coming back now, you need to back up the log about 3 minutes... and you will find that I was in fact deliberately dicked by etnobeast.. sadly revenge probably solves nothing , but he deserved it.. fair is fair then someone loses an eye... I ducked out because I was really steamed, to be honest I forgot that you guys ban people for TK's... do whatever you think is fair - sometimes people get fragged for being jerks and the consequences are what they are.

Re: Banned for what reason?
Fair enough.
I will put a vote to the BF2 admins, which will last no more than 3 days. Check this thread for the result.
