Thread: Banned for what reason?

As I do not teamkill and only attempt to play as a team member, perhaps my recent ban could be explained? It would seem to be an admin mistake... thanks

Ok, I see..

1. banned apparently for teamkilling
2. BF2 server
3. I did not teamkill anyone so I think I might be the wrong choice
4. I have been playing with you guys for a while and always felt part of the team.

I am not sure what you mean by effort? I enjoy playing with the group and would like to continue. I believe that many enjoy playing with me as well. Any team kills of my own side in the last round were purely unintentional and to be honest , I was unaware of them.

You were banned for an incident on 7/30. The map was Jalalabad, at the Junkyard flag, on the MEC side. You were an Engineer.

10 days ago? I have probably played in 100 games since then, I can not say that I recollect the incident at all. I know that I have had the unfornuate luck occaisionally of jumping from a moving car and having mines go off or accidentally shooting a teamate but there is no way I can remeber one incident in one game in the past. Sorry. Pehaps you could enlighten me? This is very odd indeed..

Oh, I think you'd remember this one, given that you ducked out immediately afterward to avoid being banned.

The night was winding down, and the US had essentially walked into Mosque unopposed, funneling the MEC team down to a few flags (at that point, just one: Junkyard). You were in Junkyard, and ethnobeast was standing where the FAV would spawn at the blue dumpster. You walked over to him from the northern doorway, around the blue dumpster and shot him dead without provocation, and then walked off towards the eastern doorway (to Fountain). Meanwhile, a friendly medic jumped on ethnobeast's body and revived him in the same place; on seeing this you turned around, walked back to him and shot him dead again, without provocation. Your response to your first unprovoked TK was merely "oops", and immediately after the second you disconnected, no doubt because you knew that you had just intentionally TKed in the presense of several admins.

So, how's that recollection coming?
