Banned for shooting commander.
I was recently banned on the BF2 server because I shot my commander by accident. Is this a permanent ban that can't be appealed?

Re: Banned for shooting commander.
#1: Apparently, I was banned for killing my team's commander.
#2: I was on the TPG BF2 server. I really don't have any idea what the name is of the admin who banned me, but I think it was the same guy who was commanding (I was playing as MEC on Operation Clean Sweep).
#3: I had no intention of killing the commander. Though I do admit I wasn't exactly being the best teamplayer at my time (having had a REALLY bad round previously), I had no intention of just killing the commander in cold blood.
#4: Normally, I try my best to adhere to teamplay. I constantly seek out teamwork servers like TPG because the "every man for himself" gameplay on normal servers just annoys me to no end. I'm the one person who will always be in a squad giving and recieving orders even if no one else on the entire team is. I've read and understood the rules of the TPG server, and I can promise you that I am capable of playing in a manner that is completely consistent with the rules and the goal to promote teamplay on the server.

Re: Banned for shooting commander.
I was commanding.
I came out of the CO console because someone was shooting me with a pistol. As soon as I got out, I see you shoot, and kill me. Not cool.
We don't put up with people intentionally teamkilling on our server....for ANY reason, and our Admins are ALWAYS watching. I hope I have made myself clear.
I will put a vote up to the BF2 Admins, and we will have your results within three days. In the meantime, read our rules, and take a look around the site.

Re: Banned for shooting commander.
Cobra,
By a vote of the BF2 admins you have been unbanned and are free to return to the server. Make sure to keep all firearms pointed downrange, in order to prevent any more friendly fire incidents.
Dex is out of the office, so I will get you squared away. Let me know if you have any problems connecting.
