Thread: Banned, please unban

I followed my friend to this server because it's one of the few his ping holds up on. The first round I'm there, I get the bomb and pass it to a teammate because I wanted to cover our flank while the majority rushed. I didn't know this wasn't allowed. Someone, I'm assuming an admin (HRD-CivilWars), criticized me for not being a team player. I disagree and would contend that a team player would have gone about his merry way, bomb intact, without any regard for the team's rush plan. That said, if carrying the bomb is something everyone is expected to do everytime they get it on this server - sorry, I didn't know and wouldn't have passed it had I known.

Immediately after this event, HRD-Civilwars angrily called another player a dumbass for breaking off the rush to presumably hit the same site from the other side too. This also seems perfectly fine to me. Unaware that this individual, who was behaving in an altogether not professional way, was an admin, I told him to shut the F up as he was making the game a not fun experience for everyone involved. This is regrettable language, and I apologize, but no one likes self appointed cruise directors. I was immediately banned for not being a team player.

While I do apologize for invoking CivilWar's vocabulary in my response to him, I would contend that the only one not acting as a team player was the admin. First, you might want to read our rules before assuming that "watching the flank while everyone else follows the call" and "going their own way to the site as opposed to what is called" are acceptable behaviors on our servers. Dropping the bomb so you don't have to follow the call is a bannable offense in and of itself, but since I had never seen you before I verbally told you it was not being a teamplayer. The call was to flash long, then go lower B to B. The reason we want EVERYONE to do this is so they leave B site, thus making it easier for us to take it. The dumbass in question went straight B instead, thus holding the CTs there, and causing us to lose. As for your ban when someone, whether they are an admin or not, is making calls telling the to shut the fuck up is not a wise decision. If you understand all of that, and still want to play here, I will start a vote for you, and you will have the results here in no more than 3 days. Clear enough?

As I said, you might want to use your free time to read our rules. It's not good enough for me, so we go through the "bureaucracy", unless you would rather not worry about it at all?
