Thread: Unban Request..

Hey Guys

My player name is BoC_Kewlflguy2 . I'm writing to you to ask you to remove my ban. I was banned last night by =BSS= Faijdas or something close to it. I can't remember the correct spelling.

Just to explain in detail, I am an expert pilot. Flying jets is pretty much all I do except for the city maps. I always respect people that are waiting for jets and wait my turn. I was waiting in line twice for a jet when the above mentioned admin just cut in line and took it from me. The third time I actually managed to get the jet and I was kicked from the server, with the reason of "Excessive Teamkilling". I came back and made the following comment and I quote "nice work faijdas" . Maybe that comment was not appropriate by his standards but that was just a way of venting the frustration. Immediately after I made that comment I was BANNED for "Admin Abuse" . I did nothing else that deserved a ban other than what I just mentioned.

it might be a good idea to look at some of the other ban request to see how they are formatted....

1. The fact that you're not an admin makes no difference because perhaps a close friend of yours is.
2. I said " I beleive it was you" that does not mean that I was sure it was you.
3. You screenshots show nothing more than me doing to you the same exact thing you did to me more than once before I actually retaliated.

I play as a team every single round, treat everyone with respect, specially those guys whom i've played with for a while. The reason why i started playing in your server is because there are a whole lot less annoying people that come in here. It's mostly guys you can actually enjoy playing with. Those are just some of the reasons why I would like to continue playing on your server. It has never been my intention to teamkill anyone with the purpose of being a jackass nor will it be in the future.

I'm not here to get in a pissing contest with you. Obviously we both did what we are not supposed to do. I'm not going to complain every time that someone TK's me. There are not enough hours in the day for that. I'm just here to voice my opinion over what I think is not a fair ban.

Then again that's just my opinion.

Thanks for amending your post as Bird has suggested. It is our policy on this server to keep the admin identities a secret, and for the reason, you do not know who banned you, but you do know why. As you stated, you we kicked for forcing TK's. But you also stated that you were banned for admin abuse. What did you say to the admin? If you're in this forum, it means that we need to deal with that issue first, then deal with the issue of teamkilling.

Once we hear your side of the story concerning the admin abuse, then a vote will be put up in the admin forums petitioning for your unban.

Thanks for the quick answer. My comments were as I posted before were "nice work faijdas" and if I remember correctly I did say "ahole" in a separate sentence a few seconds later. I did this out of frustration but I also purposedly did not say it all together in the same sentence so people would not read too much into it.

I understand it was not a smart comment to make. I f the above mentioned player is not an admin then I have no Idea where the admin abuse came from. The only derogatory comments I made were these and nothing else.

I would truly like to know the reason if it is not related to this same incident because I trully don't know.

Thanks for letting us know that. Here in TTP we take our teamplay, and the protection of our teamplayers very seriously. I believe you know this because you have been frequenting our server for quite a while. I for one am glad that you are here. However, we also take very seriously the respect that we believe are due to our admins. They have a very difficult job policing the server night after night, in what can sometimes be a rather unruly place.

It is my understanding that your final comment, "Ahole" is what got you your ban. The admin "did read into it", that's what our admins do. It was believed that that comment was leveled at the admin in particular. And if you thought that Faisdjas was the admin, and you were talking to him, then issue is irrelevant, you still said it, and the abuse was intended for the admin.

We know that players get frustrated, we know they have problems with other players, but in the future we want to hear about every intentional teamkill that ever happens to you, because we want to make sure that your time spent on this server is positive. That can't happen if idiots who breeze through keep TK'ing all the players.

Let me stress that on our server, the point of any ban is to force the player into this forum so that we may have a dialogue concerning the incident in question. You did. We have. You have admitted the reason for your ban. This goes along way with us.

At this time, a vote to unban you will begin in our admin forums. It will last no more than three days and could last considerably shorter. Please review this thread for further updates, and I would highly suggest that you review our rules of engagement.
