Banned?

Hey I was just in game with BallsMcGee. I was only in there for literally about 3 minutes and in that time I witnessed "BallsMcGee" not attempting a defuse on the bomb. It was on CT side, T's planted and he was the last CT. He then said something to the affect that it was a smarter play to save his weapon instead of trying to defuse a bomb in which 6 T's were in site and he didn't have enough time to defuse anyways. He was slayed of course for not attempting a defuse. As to whether or not he should be unbanned, thats not my call as I stated I was only in there for 3 minutes and that is what I witnessed during that time. So he was obviously not being a Team Player from what I witnessed.

That makes perfect sense to me? Being a team player isn't suiciding into a site with no time left.

Hello BallsMcgee, I was the admin who was on the CT side for that map.
In my eyes, being a teamplayer is making an action or actions that better the team.
You sitting in a corner saving your weapon is not a teamplayer action, in all honesty it was a very selfish move.

EDIT: If you noticed in the aforementioned round you were with one other CT.
A better route would have been to collaborate with your teammate and attempt a bomb defuse, rather than telling him to save his weapon.
He went into the bombsite alone, and died.
If you were there to help him, it may have gone differently.

uhh.. Not when you have multiple rounds to play?

Have you ever watched competitive counter-strike?

People save guns all the time so they can be more affective.

There was an admin on CT at the time, Sidroc, who does not agree with your account of events. Specifically, he does not remember anyone on CT talking about your kills or anything about you that would prompt you to type a face.

Would you care to come clean?

Also, this ban really has nothing to do with you saving your gun or not.

Come clean? I told you what happened I'm sorry that someone doesnt remember a video game conversation. If you feel that I'm "lying" which I could care less about then keep me banned. But simply not believing me because its what you want to hear I will not say that I did it because I was doing it to disrespect an admin.

But there is one major underlying difference between this situation and a competitive situation.
This is not a ESEA or a CEVO match, this is a community with a standard of play.
When an admin sees someone who is not acting for the betterment of his/her team, they will take action.

this is a competitive situation.

you're trying to beat the other team.

If you want to say that "always go to the bomb not matter what" then i 'll say okay.

But using the excuse that its not "teamplay" is faulty logic.
