Thread: ban appeal

The admin in question was saying follow the call for 10-15 minutes, when I finally asked whom is he speaking of? Great reply, no answer. I asked continuously for an answer, guess what? No reply. I know, however, he was not speaking to me cause I knew the map and was following the call. Someone team chatted and said why and who is not following the call [it must have been on the other team because the msgs looked like they were coming from the old HLSW client; (I'm not sure what source calls it)]. I team chatted to the person who was wondering who this admin was addressing and said I don't know the admin here is being a tool right now. Why? Because he was. Just for saying that I got banned and the message, oddly, said to address it on the forums. I been playing counterstrike and other games for a long time, and I've maybe been banned from 3 servers. I would personally request that a server moderator (Not just a plain admin) to please look into the situation at hand. It was on the no-awp server around 1:30PM CST.

This is my steamID, and I personally apologize for any inconvenience this admin has caused me and the server owners. If you don't have time to look into the situation at hand, I request that you please at least tell me bluntly, "I don't have time." I just believe that what happened today was a clear violation of any ToS that any admins have rights to on -any- server. I'll be sticking around the forums because tornadoes hit my community and there is nothing else I can do right now. Thank you for your time.

I am your banning admin, several times the "t's" were warned to follow the calls. Apparently you missed that. Its fine I could see where me not answering you was getting you mad. It was a group message to t's, not so much directed at one person.... yet. You were following the calls, I commend you for that, but what you did must have slipped your memory. Let me sum it up for you:

This community has been around quite a while, we run our servers with the full intent on getting rid of asshats, and non team players. This is why TPG has been around for so long and continues to grow day by day. You would have been fine, but then you type admin? fuck you and call him a tool. My job is to promote team play, hence the name of the server, and to promote a fun gaming atmosphere for players to play at. I gave people enough chances to follow the call, and told them if they didn't like the way things were run they could leave. But they stayed, still not following calls and bad mouthing the admin, which led to slays, and eventually bans. We take out the trash, people that have no respect for admins and the way these servers are run. People like yourself.

So tell me, do you feel you deserve another chance?

I do remember that. I was trying to provoke at least a small attempt at who the offender was because if you look at deaths, every time the message the came up was after -I- died.
Following server rules, no I don't deserve another chance. I already accepted that I just didn't want this to happen to a newbie who don't know the map or someone who is not
all familiar with strategic calls in counterstrike. I understand my attitude was very poor, but I also realize that newbies are the future of the game & people get banned when
they don't know what warnings are being directed towards them. I may be, in your words, trash of counterstrike.. but hey when I see something failing I like to call it out instead
of sitting in silence and seeing innocent people banned. I understand my banning, and thanks for the hastily reply.

Warnings were directed at t's first... Then slays to particular offenders who were still not following calls, that should have made it clear who they were. You should have been banned for your " admin? fuck you" remark, but somehow i missed that.

You have played here long enough to know we do not take kindly to blatant disregard for admins. Seemed to me like the "innocent people" did not get banned. The ones that got banned were the ones blatently not following calls. I've been around this server long enough to know just by watching them and seeing what they type who are the true newbies to css, and who are the asshats that just don't want to follow rules. You should know around here we try and help, coach, and lead people into team playing. The few who got banned made their choice to disregard after multiple warnings and slays.

You don't feel you should have been banned? Really? Saying Fuck You, then saying all the admins are tools does not warrant a ban?

Read through some other ban appeals, there are probably hundreds of players that called admins tools, or said fuck you to them. That warrants a ban immediately, every time, no questions asked.

If your banned from one server, your banned from all of them.

You may want to try and some way convince the admin community here why you should be unbanned. They will all be voting on it. And right now you do not feel you were banned justly. So how do you think they are gonna look at it? You don't see your wrong doing so why should we let you play here again?

Sending me a PM asking the telephone number to the HQ of TPG is not going to solve anything.

Maybe they will read the timestamps on the chat log and see there was 10 clear minutes of confusion made by me, and give me some slack.

I came in, first two rounds and said nothing. To see if anyone was making calls. Nothing, players were doing their own thing, going their own way. I made a few calls and no one but a couple regs followed. I gave a couple group messages just saying "t's" need to follow the calls. Then it was a round or two of slow playing. No one got slayed or banned. No messages were put up. Then I made a call again the a couple guys did not follow the call. One of them got slayed. The other did not because I couldn't get his name. Another round of slow play and no one got slayed or warned. Then the next round and the round after I made calls. People were not following, so they got slayed, then again they did not follow so they got banned. You then mouthed off and got your self banned. Yeah it was probably ten minutes into this.

The players who got slayed for not following the calls should make it clear who the culprits were. They then later got banned, which really made it clear.

There will be no slack. You said what you did and got banned.
