Banned - no idea why

I'm new to your server/community. I was surprised to find a public server that was objective-driven and played maps outside of the typical cycle. On the second map I was banned after defusing a bomb. I am not sure why, but I think it may have something to do with the fact that I use my mouse wheel to switch weapons when defusing. Somebody commented on that on the first map, and then after I defused the bomb on the second map with the same method (which has never been an issue in any leagues so if it's a no-no here that's news to me) I got the message stating I was banned.

I checked my stats to see if perhaps this was a ban related to skill, but I personally felt like I was under-performing considering I hadn't played CSS prior to today in about two months.

Honestly... I'm kind of at a loss here. I almost feel like this was an accident?

Normally I would just move on to another server, but I was pretty stoked to find this community and thus I've taken the time to register to inquire as to why I was banned and if there was a way to resolve that. I've also tried to fill out my profile a bit to help move this along. My goal was to actually play a little CSS this weekend. Thanks.

I am your banning admin. You are right you were banned for quick switching the bomb while trying to defuse. You were warned over God chat and by several "regs" to not defuse while quick switching any reason you choose to ignore this and quick switch the bomb three more times?

As a player you must abide by all rules and listen to the admins. This is not the normal server. In fact, many people never play another server after finding this one. We play the game as a team and accomplish objectives. We do not condone any form of exploit and quick switching the bomb is considered an exploit.

I never saw any warning or I would have simply not quick switched.

I checked the chat logs as well and there is nothing about it listed. I never heard anybody say anything negative over voice comm about it either. When I reviewed the logs I saw numerous warnings to another player by the name of Rage, but nothing towards me.

In all sincerity, if I knew it was a problem I would have followed the rules. I'm not here to be a troublemaker.

I can assure you I gave the warning. Also listen to other regs most of the time they will not steer you wrong.

I believe you that you gave a warning. The problem is that I never saw this god mode chat, none of my teammates said anything on voice chat, and I didn't see anything in regular chat. I am not familiar with the god mode chat, and to be fair it was rather late in the morning for me. It's possible I missed it due to fatigue or also because I was playing with my settings to try and reduce some strange lag. I would typically be doing this at the start of the round on Chateau, which is probably when you gave some type of warning (after a defusal). That makes sense to me.

I don't know where this message shows up and I probably thought it was some other statistic or plugin thing because I had no idea I was breaking a rule. This totally caught me off guard.
