but honestly...Killing Floor should win game of the year!

low budget, low cost, developers are very close to the community and the game aint half bad at all!

L4D2 or Killing Floor. Possibly Mirror's Edge, as that was out for PC this year.

At the mo it's Assassin's Creed 2: can't get enough of jumping off rooftops and killing two folk at once. To be fair, it'd probably be L4D2 if I had the money to buy it.

I would make a case for Batman Arkham Asylum, I really loved that game. Not sure if it really changed anything though, just happened to be basically the only good Batman game ever. I hold back though because I really do look for a multiplayer aspect to my games... though I s'pose that has nothing to do with the quality of the actual game.

That being said L4d 2 has to be mentioned of course, I think that they really made a product that surpassed the original. I really just feel that I can't support Modern Warfare 2. Its intentions are all wrong.
