Re: I see how it is....
We didnt have 9 people on each side but it worked out great with very little confusion. It also made it seem alot more team oriented because the defenders wernt able to make tons of sentries or place tons and tons of stickies/grenades while the attackers had to work hard because they could only have one uber pushing in and if they had an engeneer that was one less person who could join the assault.

Re: I see how it is....
it was really funny because the 4 classes I play most are soldier, demo, engie and spy and all 4 of those were taken so I went with Pyro...
it was a REAL challenge and I found myself hitting N to change classes after almost every death and then forgetting - wait, I can't change....
It was almost more frustration than I could handle and I never did do any good as a pyro...eventually somebody relented and let me be a demoman and it worked out OK, lol.
It isnt that Im a bad pyro, its just that the situation(s) we were in didnt call for pyro.

Re: I see how it is....
The limited class system was the bomb.
Made teamwork into a whole new dynamic.
I would have liked a full 9 on 9 as that would provide more usefulness for all classes.
Going 6 on 6 we tended towards the heavier classes of course.
With 9v9 I see spies and pyros becoming much more useful.
We should keep this a trend for a least one of the match maps a week. IMO.

Everything that valve does seems to move at a almost retarded slow pace.
Im betting this DLC will be out in October. I mean any group of normal people would have this out in under a week. Its not like they have to start from scratch. It should only take a few days or weeks to get this thing out. But in valve time its like 5 or 6 months because the guy running the show must be a total fuckin moron.
Send me in there with a tire iron, a taser gun and some duct tape and i'd have it out on friday

They best hope its not in October.. I won't even be thinking about L4D 2.
Come 10-25-2011 The only thing Im gonna be playing is Battlefield 3.
Then when Re-Made Shooter 10 comes out on November 8th (MW3)
I'll be too busy playing Battlefield 3 to care.
So umm yeah Valve, nothing personal but.. your times ticking.
& the Only thing that can possibly pull me away from BF3 will be Borderlands 2
If only for a few weeks.

yea I think they are taking to long, I mean the first and second game
have been out already for along time and nothing has changed with
these games, it is the same stuff everytime you play, its boring
as hell, I used to love L4D but now the servers have gotten so
bad that there isnt any point in trying to play because it just
annoying reloading lobbys constantly because they wont update
the servers with a patch, along with any and every DLC they
release for either of these games takes them forever.
Ive been playing L4D since the first day the first game was released
and still to this day am waiting for something to wow me about these
games. There have been some oh this is cool moments but nothing
that would keep me playing these games, when something great
happens with the L4D series then I will be in awe for Valve has
finally put in some effort to do something about these games other
then abandon them and move to the next ones.
