Not sure if this is for the DLC or not, but @L4DDev tweeted this yesterday :

"We are going to let the content servers calm down today and we will be releasing the Cold Stream update early Monday morning."

Would have been nice to get some detail on that "update". Is it the full DLC? Or just a tweak to the beta map? Your guess is as good as mine.

Just my opinion, of course, but I hate the finale for Cold Stream. Unless that last map gets a total makeover, I probably won't be playing the gold version very often. Not unless there are specific achievements associated with it.

Im betting this DLC will be out in October. I mean any group of normal people would have this out in under a week. Its not like they have to start from scratch. I agree with this. I mean, I understand they are trying to optimize the maps to be the best they can for the L4D2 infected (and in the case of Cold Stream, fixing exploits and other bugs), but it's taking them way too long. All five of these maps already existed when VALVe started working on them, FFS. It should not take them months to change the L4D1 maps. How many people do they have working on L4D2, maybe a team of ten?

And Cold Stream, while I like the idea of working with the community to update it, seems overrated, and it seems to take a long time between each update on PC.

Overall, I am looking forward to this DLC, but I think it's taking them too long. If anything, I'm honestly looking forward moreso to the bug fixes and other random updates that they said the Xbox 360 would get with this DLC (but the L4D1 maps are close behind that).

yea i wish they would hurry up with this dlc. im really lookin forward 2 the l4d1 maps because i never played l4d1 before, iv'e only played l4d2. i was amazed with the no mercy campaign so i cant wait for the other 5
